Dear Lila, Vanda, and all you other wonderful people at Heliotopos.

We are now at home in cold Norway, to sit and think back on our wonderful dream wedding on the beautiful Santorini which was 12/09/12.

It is already almost 6 months ago, but it feels like yesterday. We have been in Crete before, where we got engaged in 2008. And we’ve already had many years together before too. So to do it this particular way, bring all the family down to this great place to celebrate our wedding there, is something we absolute would recommend to everyone.

“Amazing Experience”

Lila, Vanda, Yiota are amazing. We researched where to have our wedding and the personal service you get from Lila over the internet is by far what sets her above all others in the area. She always responded promptly with questions. It was by far a never forget experience.We ran into some problems with documents and Lila had alternatives solutions that ended up being better than what we had originally planned! She reserved the best Photographer, the best Videographer, and best Hair Stylist (& Make up) I could have asked for. Ms. Helen, you were amazing and thanks for the help with my dress.

The food is amazing (Lila is an amazing cook). The morning breakfast is also amazingly delicious. The ceremony was amazing (both of them). The view is incredible, the staff is so hospitable. We had such an amazing experience. While we ran into some problems as long as you aren’t high strung and amendable to changes (or understand the European way–laid back) you will be fine and Lila and her staff will do everything physically possible to take care of you and your family! Thank you for making the event so relaxing! Everyone had a wonderful time!!!

  “In 2005, we spent a month touring the mainland and the Cyclades islands, but of all the indelible memories we came away with, we knew that the isle of Folegandros was the most special.

We’d hiked along the island’s rugged terrain and up a winding path to the highest point – The beautiful Church of Panagia, perched atop a magnificent cliff overlooking the Aegean ocean. In just one day, we’d seen more than enough to lure us back for the most special day of our lives. Michael and I are now home in NZ from our honeymoon and wanted to send a sincere thank you to you and also to Maria and Vanda for all your amazing help in organising our wedding in Santorini. We were sorry that we did not get to meet you Lila, but really appreciated all of your help leading up to our wedding.

Our wedding was absolutely perfect in every way and Maria and Vanda were so very friendly and helpful which enabled us to be completely relaxed on our special day. Everything was orchestrated beautifully and with an amazing attention to detail – from the flowers and musicians to the paperwork and ceremony. Our guests told us it was the best wedding they have ever been too – and we most certainly agree!

We thank you and your team so very much for all your amazing efforts and for making our day as wonderful and relaxed as it was. If we know of anyone ever planning to get married in Greece, we will definitely recommend your services.

Dear Lila and Vanda,

Thank you so much for making our recent wedding so very special. As you could probably tell, Greg and I were overwhelmed to be making our vows in such a beautiful place and were able to really immerse ourselves in eachother and the occasion, thanks to knowing you had taken care, so particularly, all of the details for us.

Everyone has commented on the setting for the wedding and having gone through this amazing experience we would have no hesitation recommending a Heliotopos Wedding to anyone.

Vanda read the vows so well and really put feeling into the words – she made the ceremony very personal for us.

We really appreciated the lovely champagne you gifted to us, the beautiful decoration of the room for our special wedding night and the lovely greek pottery, with 2 birds decoration, which now is displayed in our hall with our family and wedding photos. Also, all your help with arrangements and managing to get me into my dress.

We realised we forgot to return to take the shot of the 4 of us with the wedding certificate but we were very happy to see both of you featuring in the amazing video that Yiannis so kindly and dedicatedly took for us. He did an amazing job….. please do thank him again for us, we will always feel grateful to him for capturing it all for us.

Yiorgos did a fabulous job of the photos so we are thrilled. He really went the extra mile and stayed much longer than anticipated, which was very good of him. I will email him but it will be in English, so if you do see him – please relay in Greek our praise and thanks.

The cake tasted and looked amazing – if you could pass on our thanks to the people involved in making/decorating it. It was perfect – classic and elegant. Same with the flowers, the bouquet was beautiful and just right to match the tone of the day.

Helen did a fantastic job of my hair and makeup – I’ve received a lot of compliments!!

Thank you again ….. for everything. It felt like you were genuinely excited for the wedding and our marriage and our happiness and that we were the only bride and groom of the year – it felt very personal and organised, without seeming like you were just doing your ‘jobs’. When you see so many marriages at Heliotopos, to retain that sense of special and unique occasion, for the couples, is really something! We could see that you enjoy being part of people’s special moments and we are very glad you were such a big part of ours.
