Dear Lila, Vanda, Despina and all at Heliotopos

We hope you are all well. Nick and I are still trying to get back to normality after such a brilliant wedding and holiday and we wish we were back in Santorini. Nick and I would just like to thank you all for making our wedding day so special.We were so impressed with everything as were our guests.We could not have asked for anything more.

From the first moment we met with Vanda to go through the plans we knew that we had chosen the right company. Vanda went through every single detail to ensure that the wedding was exactly as we wanted. We were so impressed with the practical suggestions that were made and the advice that was given. Everyone at Heliotopos was friendly and helpful.

The view from Heliotopos was spectacular and we will remember it for the rest of our lives as will our family and friends. The flowers were amazing and the service was beautiful. We enjoyed the whole experience so much more than we could have anticipated and we cant stop looking at our photographs.

We would also like to thank you for suggesting that we have our reception at Pygros as it was a brilliant location for a party of our size. The food was absolutely beautiful and the decoration was exactly how we wanted.All of our guests commented on how nice the food was and what a great venue it was. We were also impressed with the fire works and thought the DJ was great. We all enjoyed his choice of music and danced all night.

Overall, the wedding was spectacular and the best day of our lives and this was all thanks to your planning and organisation and we cannot thank you enough for all that you did. We would highly recommend Heliotopos Weddings to anyone who is thinking of getting married in Greece. You really did take the stress out of everything and ensured that we enjoyed every minute of the day.

Thank you so much. We hope to return to Santorini in the future to renew our vows and it would be lovely to see you all again.

Dear Lila and Vanda,

Thank you so much for making our recent wedding so very special. As you could probably tell, Greg and I were overwhelmed to be making our vows in such a beautiful place and were able to really immerse ourselves in eachother and the occasion, thanks to knowing you had taken care, so particularly, all of the details for us.

Everyone has commented on the setting for the wedding and having gone through this amazing experience we would have no hesitation recommending a Heliotopos Wedding to anyone.

Vanda read the vows so well and really put feeling into the words – she made the ceremony very personal for us.

We really appreciated the lovely champagne you gifted to us, the beautiful decoration of the room for our special wedding night and the lovely greek pottery, with 2 birds decoration, which now is displayed in our hall with our family and wedding photos. Also, all your help with arrangements and managing to get me into my dress.

We realised we forgot to return to take the shot of the 4 of us with the wedding certificate but we were very happy to see both of you featuring in the amazing video that Yiannis so kindly and dedicatedly took for us. He did an amazing job….. please do thank him again for us, we will always feel grateful to him for capturing it all for us.

Yiorgos did a fabulous job of the photos so we are thrilled. He really went the extra mile and stayed much longer than anticipated, which was very good of him. I will email him but it will be in English, so if you do see him – please relay in Greek our praise and thanks.

The cake tasted and looked amazing – if you could pass on our thanks to the people involved in making/decorating it. It was perfect – classic and elegant. Same with the flowers, the bouquet was beautiful and just right to match the tone of the day.

Helen did a fantastic job of my hair and makeup – I’ve received a lot of compliments!!

Thank you again ….. for everything. It felt like you were genuinely excited for the wedding and our marriage and our happiness and that we were the only bride and groom of the year – it felt very personal and organised, without seeming like you were just doing your ‘jobs’. When you see so many marriages at Heliotopos, to retain that sense of special and unique occasion, for the couples, is really something! We could see that you enjoy being part of people’s special moments and we are very glad you were such a big part of ours.

Hi there Lila, Katerina, Yiota & Rena,

Well we are back in England but our hearts are still with you in sunny Santorini. We miss you and your kind hospitality so very much and I shed a few tears when we left you all yesterday. Being back in Manchester and waking up without the fantastic view of the Caldera is so sad! We are also missing the fabulous food from the daily buffet – it wasn’t the same this morning without the greek yoghurt and honey followed by some spinach or cheese pie!!!

Anyway we wanted to thank you all so VERY VERY MUCH for making our stay at Heliotopos so fantastic. From the moment we arrived we felt like part of the Heliotopos family and Lila it was so nice to meet you at long last as I know I felt like I knew you so well after our many emails since Oct 2004!! When we saw our room and the view, it took our breath away, you really do have a beautiful hotel in such a stunning location.

Our wedding was perfect from start to finish, you really looked after us both and made us feel so special. I know I am fussy on detail but I was not disappointed in anything. The flowers, the musicians, the ceremony, the decoration in the lava cave, the fireworks, the fabulous food and the wonderful cake that everyone loved so much!! – It was all so perfect. We have so many happy memories that will remain with us forever and we are so very happy that we chose to get married at Heliotopos and in Santorini.

We would also like to thank Yiota for her help and advice and attention to detail with the lava cave. It was so beautiful when we walked in – all lit up – so romantic. Plus Katerina – you are so sweet and helpful – and your favourite colour is TURQUOISE – just like me!! You even wore turquoise when you took us to the Thira to the Town Hall!! Thanks so much for your help!!  Then of course Rena – nothing was ever too much trouble and you were always there to help us out and answer our questions. Thanks also to Yiannis and all your other staff who are very lovely people – You are ALL lovely people!!

We can’t wait to come back and see you again – perhaps on our 5th anniversary – who knows, maybe sooner!!

Anyway we will keep in touch with you Lila as we would like to know how everyone is doing and how all the other weddings go!! I LOVE weddings as you know – perhaps I can work for you!!?? That would be perfect as I have always wanted to be a wedding planner – it’s my dream job!!

Oh well, I guess I better go now. Back to work tomorrow and normal life!! You all take care and keep in touch. We’re missing you already and it’s only been a day.

Hi Lila

We just wanted to let you know that we have now got a baby daughter who was born October last year. She is now 16 weeks old and is keeping us very busy and entertained.

Choosing her name was very easy. She is called Lila!!!

We really liked your name and as you organised a fantastic wedding for us (2 June 2002) we always agreed that if we had a girl that is what she would be called. I have attached some photos for you of her in her christening gown.

We are going to risk going on holiday with her this year in September when she will be nearly 1 years old. We have booked our flights to Athens and are hoping to catch a ferry over to Santorini so hopefully you can meet her. She is looking forward to meeting you!
