Dear Lila and the Heliotopos Staff,

Ron and I have just finished our Mediterranean cruise on Friday and have just arrived back in Toronto yesterday.

Today, we were looking at our lovely wedding pictures and felt nostalgic as we reminisce of our beautiful wedding day in Santorini.Our family truly enjoyed themselves at our wedding and during our tour to Pyrgos Village and Santos Winery.

Our wedding would not have been possible without your professional coordination and attention to details. Thank you for making our special day a very memorable one! Thank you for answering all our questions from our numerous detailed emails the last two months, for being very patient with our special requests and for accommodating our last minute changes!

Our wedding was as perfect as we had envisioned it! If we could do it all over, there would be almost nothing that we would change except for hiring the photographer for the full day, so that he can take pictures of our tour as well. We absolutely love our pictures! We are very happy to see all our special moments captured in beautiful pictures. Please thank the photographer for capturing the style and poses that we requested. We also very much appreciated that all the pictures were finished, placed in an album and delivered with the CD of all our pictures before we headed back on the cruise the same day. Our family looked at the pictures the very same night on the cruise and we were all in mesmerized. My mom showed our album to other travellers on the cruise. You will definitely have more business and referrals from us!

We hope to have our renewal of the vows at Heliotopos Hotel in a few years:)

Dear Lila and Vanda,

Thank you so much for making our recent wedding so very special. As you could probably tell, Greg and I were overwhelmed to be making our vows in such a beautiful place and were able to really immerse ourselves in eachother and the occasion, thanks to knowing you had taken care, so particularly, all of the details for us.

Everyone has commented on the setting for the wedding and having gone through this amazing experience we would have no hesitation recommending a Heliotopos Wedding to anyone.

Vanda read the vows so well and really put feeling into the words – she made the ceremony very personal for us.

We really appreciated the lovely champagne you gifted to us, the beautiful decoration of the room for our special wedding night and the lovely greek pottery, with 2 birds decoration, which now is displayed in our hall with our family and wedding photos. Also, all your help with arrangements and managing to get me into my dress.

We realised we forgot to return to take the shot of the 4 of us with the wedding certificate but we were very happy to see both of you featuring in the amazing video that Yiannis so kindly and dedicatedly took for us. He did an amazing job….. please do thank him again for us, we will always feel grateful to him for capturing it all for us.

Yiorgos did a fabulous job of the photos so we are thrilled. He really went the extra mile and stayed much longer than anticipated, which was very good of him. I will email him but it will be in English, so if you do see him – please relay in Greek our praise and thanks.

The cake tasted and looked amazing – if you could pass on our thanks to the people involved in making/decorating it. It was perfect – classic and elegant. Same with the flowers, the bouquet was beautiful and just right to match the tone of the day.

Helen did a fantastic job of my hair and makeup – I’ve received a lot of compliments!!

Thank you again ….. for everything. It felt like you were genuinely excited for the wedding and our marriage and our happiness and that we were the only bride and groom of the year – it felt very personal and organised, without seeming like you were just doing your ‘jobs’. When you see so many marriages at Heliotopos, to retain that sense of special and unique occasion, for the couples, is really something! We could see that you enjoy being part of people’s special moments and we are very glad you were such a big part of ours.

Dear Lila,

just wanted to let you know that we are back in boston after spending 5 days on the italian riviera for our honeymoon. even though we enjoyed it a lot, we still had santorini in our hearts and minds!

thank you again for organizing our wedding, it was truly wonderful!!! we could not have asked for a more memorable and enjoyable event, and all our guests have been telling us how much they really enjoyed it. i guess that means we’ll be headed there for our renewal of vows in the future :)))

and, of course, lila, we want to thank you for always being there for us during the entire process. your sense of humor and smile and observations about marriage and husbands and weddings was a welcome relief from the pressure of those last few days before wedding.

Dear Lila,

My husband and I would like to say many many thanks to you for what you did in our wedding. Sorry for late reply. Since I came back China, I have been thinking about writing to you but I have been always on business trip from here to there these days.

We do think that you gave us a best wedding day which we will never forget and we had never anticipated. What you did really exceeded what you promised.

I’ve recommended your hotel to many friends since I came back. I told them to have their wedding anniversaries there and obviously many of them are highly interested. 🙂

Moreover, I told my husband many many times after meeting with you that you are the one that I dream to be one day–fascinating, passionate, energetic and doing what you love to. I hope that I could realize that dream in the future.

By the way, my husband and I chose that photo almost simultaneouly.

Dear Lila, Yiota and Romilly,

We are back home in New Zealand and finding it hard to settle down to the routine again, after such a wonderful week in Santorini.

We would like to thank you so much for making Bridget and Daniel’s wedding so very special. Your attention to every little detail was superb, which made the day perfect in every way.Your kindness and hospitality made all of the guests not to mention ourselves, feel very special indeed and our memories of our week on your beautiful Santorini, will last a life time. I know Bridget and Daniel were delighted with their wedding day and still re-living every moment.

Thank you also for the photo’s from your wedding files, many of our friends that couldn’t join us, have loved looking at them.

I hope you have a restful winter with time to relax, after such a busy season. We now head into our summer, but most of us, wish we were back on Santorini.
