“In 2005, we spent a month touring the mainland and the Cyclades islands, but of all the indelible memories we came away with, we knew that the isle of Folegandros was the most special.

We’d hiked along the island’s rugged terrain and up a winding path to the highest point – The beautiful Church of Panagia, perched atop a magnificent cliff overlooking the Aegean ocean. In just one day, we’d seen more than enough to lure us back for the most special day of our lives. Gazing down at the Mediterranean waters off 3 sides of the island, we made a promise to each other that we would someday return to be married at that church.

Six years later – and just a month before our wedding day – we were distraught that our dream might be impossible. The economic hardships in Greece made it difficult for us to reliably plan our wedding and we feared we would have to postpone our big day. Then we found Lila with Heliotopos Weddings! We were elated with her amazing professionalism, caring spirit, and unwavering commitment to do anything and everything necessary to make our wedding dream come true! They solved every problem, offered so many beautiful ideas, and worked with us every step of the way!
