We may truly say that we have a memory that will last a lifetime! Lila, Romilly, and the staff of Heliotopos Hotel really make you feel like family. The design of the hotel was extraordinary and really conveyed the feeling of traditional Cycladic Architecture. The view from our room (the highest point of the Caldera) was absolutely breathtaking. The wedding was, of course, the best part of all. We were greeted by a couple of donkeys and two Greek musicians playing traditional island music. We were paraded around the village via donkey back (highly recommended) and ended up at the hotel just in time for the most beautiful sunset. The ceremony was both in Greek and English adding a little more authenticity to the already incredible ambiance. We left all of our stress at home as the hotel took care of every detail providing the best photographer, hair stylist, make-up artist, videographer, flowers, etc... Everyone says our pictures look like postcards! It was a very sad day when we had to leave and with us a million reasons to return.
Thank you to everyone at Heliotopos Hotel for making our Wedding day beyond our dreams and expectations! If we had to do it all over again - we wouldn't change a thing!

Thank you so much for making our wedding day on September 25 so special and memorable.
Our wedding at the Heliotopos was stress-free, well planned, and incredibly romantic…just as we wished. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous and Dora did an excellent job with the pictures. You held our hand along the way and made sure that every detail was taken care of from setting the date to choosing the musicians. The honeymoon package was very nice and we loved the wine and the beautiful dinner we had on the night of our wedding. The sailboat tour to the volcano was a wonderful way to spend the day during our stay. I can’t imagine any place on earth as beautiful and romantic as Santorini Island.
Thanks again for making our wedding day so wonderful. As we have gone back to the rat race in the states, we can’t help but think of sitting on the balcony with the amazing view while drinking lovely Santorini wine. We will always have fond memories of your warmth and kindness and we hope to return very soon.

We are physically back in New York, but our spirit is in Santorini. Our wedding was an incredible whimsical fairytale, that we cannot let go of. We replay the day in our mind and our conversations everyday and we owe it all to the three of you!
Being an uptight, perfectionist New Yorker I (the bride) had a vision in my mind and a dream in my heart and you guys made it a true reality. Romilly, the countless emails..pictures..drawings..ideas.. you were somehow able to bring it all together. You and Lila understood me as if we were friends, envisioning my wedding day for years. I am person stuck on my ways ( no BABY'S BREATH!!! ) and knows what I like and what I don't like.. and remarkably I can say I LOVED everything!!! From the flowers, to the music, to the food, to the fireworks, to the dancers, to the decorations, to the photographers & videographers.
The entire day and night was spectacular! What was more amazing was the comfort we both felt knowing we were in your hands. You took control of every dilemma no matter how big or small.. and sometimes settled issues without us ever knowing.. now that is PRICELESS! And as for our 160 guests from NY and Athens.... their accommodations were top notch. Yiota was able to coordinate everything in the most professional and organized manner.
Lila, Romilly and Yiota.. you will always be apart of our lives.. and we are so honored you treated our wedding day as a labor of love.. we love you all!...

We just wanted to write and express our thanks for making our wedding the happiest day our of lives, we had a truly wonderful day. Our room was stunning, the musicians as lovely as ever, the meal fantastic, dancers brilliant and then we were presented with our gorgeous photos. Our guests had a great time and most of them said it was the best wedding they had ever been to which is exactly the response we wanted.
It was so nice to come home and watch our DVD too, it captured all the little details that we may have forgotten. Please pass our thanks to all the staff at the Heliotopos as they all played a part.
Anyway Santorini always has and will even more so now hold a very special place in our hearts, you have not seen the last of us!

When we were trying to decide on a destination for our wedding, overwhelmed by worries and emotions, we were reading the testimonies of other couples. The praises of your hotel were so great, that we were not sure how realistic they were. Well, now it’s our turn and we can say that the others were understating their praises! The problem, we realize, lies in the difficulty of finding proper words to describe the sincere gratitude and great appreciation for making A DREAM come true.
We’ve travelled to many different countries and have seen many different weddings. We knew we wanted something very, very special for our ceremony, but had difficulty expressing our ideas in more than general terms. We didn’t know, at that time, just HOW special it could actually be.
You and your staff showed us how. The attention to detail you all show is so far beyond one’s expectations, it is almost unreal. Others have written that they felt like part of the family while at Heliotopos, and it is so very true. Everyone made us feel at home from the very first moment we entered your hotel, until we had to regretfully leave. You and your staff’s creativity and honest desire to go beyond expectations to meet your customers’ wishes deserve the highest praise.
Not only were we pleased with the excellent, high-class service; not only were we thrilled with the wedding service, but we also feel we have acquired very good friends.
